Best UK online casinos

Desk research · hands-on test pending. Everything below comes from regulator registers and operator pages we read on 28 Oct 2026. We have not yet made deposits or timed withdrawals. Where a fact is unknown we say not yet tested. Sponsored placements are labelled and never change a ProofScore (how we make money).

In the UK, only casinos licensed by the Gambling Commission can legally serve British players, and every licensee must join GamStop. Below are our reviewed casinos ranked by ProofScore. We excluded any brand we know is not UK-licensed.

Key UK rules in 2026

  • Slot stake caps: £5 per spin from 9 April 2025, and £2 for 18–24-year-olds from 21 May 2025 (UKGC guidance).

  • Bonus wagering cap: 10x from 19 January 2026.

  • GamStop: every licensee must offer national self-exclusion.

More detail is in our UK country guide.

Not included: Mr Green surrendered its UKGC casino licence in 2024 and can’t serve UK players. Platinum Gaming Limited, which runs 32Red and Unibet in the UK, was fined £7.1m and later £10m by the Gambling Commission; we reflect that in both scores.

Why only one casino clears our bar

Our threshold to recommend is 7.0. Only LeoVegas reaches it today. Others lose points for enforcement history, unpublished withdrawal terms or unverified licence details. That’s a strict result, but a list crowning everyone “best” wouldn’t help you.

What to compare between UK casinos

  • Withdrawals: most don’t publish limits and times publicly (see withdrawal times).

  • Bonuses: since the 10x cap, focus on expiry, eligible games and win caps (no wagering bonuses).

  • Payment methods: see PayPal casinos.

  • Safer gambling tools: deposit limits, reality checks and GamStop.

Check any casino yourself in five minutes

  1. Scroll to the footer and note the licensee company name and licence number.

  2. Search that number on the regulator’s own register: UKGC, MGA, iGaming Ontario, Spelinspektionen, KSA. A logo alone proves nothing.

  3. Confirm the domain you’re on is the one listed on the register.

  4. Read the withdrawal section of the terms: minimums, maximums, fees, and how long “pending” can last.

  5. Search the regulator’s enforcement or news pages for the company name. We list any actions we found in each review.
