PayPal casinos: which reviewed sites list it
Desk research · hands-on test pending. Everything below comes from regulator registers and operator pages we read on 28 Oct 2026. We have not yet made deposits or timed withdrawals. Where a fact is unknown we say not yet tested. Sponsored placements are labelled and never change a ProofScore (how we make money).
PayPal is popular for casino payments because you don’t share card details with the casino, and PayPal only works with gambling operators that are licensed where they offer it. Its acceptable use policy restricts gambling transactions to approved merchants. That makes “accepts PayPal” a useful, though incomplete, signal that a site is legitimate.
Which of our reviewed casinos list PayPal
From the public payment pages we read, two of our 10 reviewed casinos explicitly list PayPal for UK players:
LeoVegas (review, ProofScore 7.5) lists debit card, PayPal, Open Banking and Apple Pay. It publishes maximum withdrawals for card (£5,000), Open Banking (£35,000) and Apple Pay (£8,000). We found no PayPal-specific limit, so that is not yet tested.
Casumo (review, ProofScore 6.9) lists Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayPal, Trustly, Paysafecard, Skrill and Instant Banking. It states withdrawals are processed “in a matter of hours” with no fee above £10. Per-method limits aren’t published.
The other eight (Betway, Unibet, 888casino, bet365 Casino, Videoslots, Mr Green, 32Red and PokerStars Casino) didn’t show a payment method list on pages we could read without logging in. That doesn’t mean they don’t accept PayPal, only that we couldn’t confirm it. We’ll update this page after hands-on tests.
PayPal and casino bonuses
Some operators exclude e-wallet deposits from welcome offers. This most often applies to Skrill and Neteller, but sometimes PayPal too. Before depositing, read the bonus terms for “excluded payment methods”. Our bonuses guide explains the other terms to check. In the UK, bonus wagering has been capped at 10x since 19 January 2026 (see our UK guide).
Pros and cons of paying with PayPal
Pros: your card details stay with PayPal, and you get one history of all your gambling spend. PayPal withdrawals often land quickly once the casino approves them, though we haven’t tested that. It’s only available at licensed operators.
Cons: it’s not available in every country, some bonuses may exclude it, the casino’s approval time is still the main delay, and PayPal’s buyer protection doesn’t cover gambling losses.
Using PayPal safely
Use a PayPal account in the same name as your casino account; LeoVegas and most UK operators require names to match. Withdraw back to PayPal if you deposited with it. PayPal won’t cap your gambling spend, so set deposit limits inside the casino account and consider a gambling block on your bank card.

Scroll to the footer and note the licensee company name and licence number.
Search that number on the regulator’s own register: UKGC, MGA, iGaming Ontario, Spelinspektionen, KSA. A logo alone proves nothing.
Confirm the domain you’re on is the one listed on the register.
Read the withdrawal section of the terms: minimums, maximums, fees, and how long “pending” can last.
Search the regulator’s enforcement or news pages for the company name. We list any actions we found in each review.

FAQ
Q: Which casinos accept PayPal?
A: Of the 10 casinos we review, LeoVegas and Casumo list PayPal on their UK payment pages. For the other eight we could not confirm payment methods without logging in.
Q: Is it safe to use PayPal at an online casino?
A: PayPal only works with approved, licensed gambling merchants, which is a good sign. Still check the casino’s licence on the regulator’s register.
Q: Can I claim a bonus with PayPal?
A: It depends on the offer. Some bonus terms exclude e-wallet deposits; read the “excluded payment methods” clause before depositing.
Q: How fast are PayPal casino withdrawals?
A: We have not tested this yet. The main delay is usually the casino’s approval and verification, not PayPal itself.
Q: Does PayPal refund gambling losses?
A: No. PayPal’s buyer protection does not cover gambling transactions.
